Before you start
Twenty minutes of prep saves hours later. Most of the evidence you need in a deposit dispute is gathered here, before a single surface is wiped.
Kitchen
The room that decides most deposit deductions in Glasgow. The oven gets the hardest look on almost every checkout.
Bathrooms

If your deposit is disputed
Deposits on private residential tenancies are lodged with an approved Scottish scheme (SafeDeposits Scotland, Letting Protection Service Scotland or mydeposits Scotland) within 30 working days, and every scheme decides disputes on evidence. This checklist, your before-and-after photos and a professional cleaning invoice are exactly the paperwork an adjudicator wants to see. Cleaning is the deduction adjudicators see most often, and it is also the easiest one to defend against with a paper trail.
